1. DEAN
1.1. AUTHORITY
- Manage overall tasks of the Faculty. Be responsible for planning the development strategies of the Faculty;
- Be in charge of the political thoughts of the Faculty’s staff;
- Be responsible for the Faculty’s teaching and scientific research activities;
- Assign tasks rationally based on staff’s capability and practical demands;
- Nominate the staff of the Faculty to the Rector for professional training, and abroad business and educational trips;
- Nominate the staff and the students of the Faculty for salary increases, rank changes, rewards and castigation;
- Nominate the staff of the Faculty to the Rector for a position appointment or dismissal;
- Nominate the staff of the Faculty for short training courses in and outside the country;
- Put forward proposals for curriculum adjustment, invite lecturers and experts for seminar reports;
- Organize political meetings to disseminate lines and policies of the Faculty and the University;
- Be in charge of the financial activities and information network of the Faculty;
- Be in charge of international cooperation activities;
- Organize and direct seminars of the Faculty;
- Sign the official documents of the Faculty;
- Devolve duties to the Vice Dean;
- Have a close connection with other leaders, units, and related corporations.
1.2. RESPONSIBILITY
- Be responsible for managing the staff and students of the Faculty;
- Schedule the course and organize proposal and thesis defense for post graduation programs;
- Organize to compile curriculum and syllabus, improve teaching and learning methods;
- Develop a plan and organize the implementation of ethical and political orientation for the staff and the students of the Faculty;
- Participate in teaching and researching according to the University’s regulations;
- Be responsible for reporting according to the University’s regulations.
- Develop and implement the steps according to the education quality assessment procedures;
- Coordinate with the University in the fields of international cooperation, scientific research and postgraduate.
2. VICE DEAN (Responsible for: Academic activities and Students’ Affairs)
2.1. AUTHORITY
- Support the Dean with the assigned tasks;
- Be responsible for teaching, training, and scientific research activities of the Faculty;
- Be in charge of students’ and the Youth Union’s activities.
2.2. RESPONSIBILITY
- Be responsible for assigned tasks with the Dean;
- Manage the homeroom teacher activities, syllabus, and curricula of the subjects;
- Manage and contact for graduation internships and other field trips (if any);
- Direct the regular activities of homeroom teachers and training evaluation activities;
- Direct students’ and the Youth Union’s activities;
- Participate in meetings with the University in the assigned fields.
3. VICE DEAN (Responsible for: Facility)
3.1. AUTHORITY
- Support the Dean with the assigned tasks;
- Be in charge of facilities and materials for experiments and internships;
- Develop projects to improve research capability; purchase tools and equipment; upgrade and repair facilities;
- Be in charge of the manufacturing activities, technology transfer, and the avenues from scientific activities;
- Manage the workshop and labs of the Faculty;
- Manage all of the faculties of the Faculty.
3.2. RESPONSIBILITY
- Be responsible for assigned tasks with the Dean;
- Make plans for purchasing equipment and tools, make proposals for facility repair;
- Manage the revenue – expenditure activities of technology transfer activities;
- Manage the facility tracking notebook of the Faculty;
- Coordinate with the workshop and labs to develop the plan for internships according to the syllabus of the Faculty;
- Manage working time and activities at the workshop and labs of the Faculty;
- Participate in meetings with the University in the assigned fields.
4. HEAD OF DIVISION
4.1. AUTHORITY
- Manage the teaching and research quality of the Division;
- Manage the curricula, syllabus, and tests of the assigned subjects of the Division;
- Assign subjects of the Division to lecturers;
- Manage human resources, make plans on professional training for the members of the Division;
- Develop, compile, select, and approve curricula that are used in teaching;
- Organize periodic seminars and participate in class observations;
- Put forward proposals for the member recruitment Division to the Dean and invite visiting lecturers for the Division;
- Put forward proposals in rewards and castigation, and position nomination and dismissal nomination;
- Improve professional competence.
4.2. RESPONSIBILITY
- Be responsible for academy-related activities in training and research of the Division;
- Be responsible for the contents, quality and progress of the subjects in charge of the Division;
- Improve teaching methods, and organize academic activities to enhance the quality;
- Complete the curricula and syllabus related to subjects in charge of the Division;
- Make plans on professional training for members of the Division;
- Coordinate with other organizations in the aspects of training, manufaction, and service in order to connect between scientific research and practical demands.
5. HEAD OF WORKSHOP AND LABORATORIES
5.1. AUTHORITY
- Manage the facilities of the in-charge workshop and labs;
- Manage the contents of the experiments and practice classes at the workshop and labs;
- Assign instructors for experiment and practice classes in the syllabus of the Faculty (coordinate with Head of the Division);
- Make plans for professional training for other instructors of the workshop and labs;
- Plan on facility purchases for experiments and practice;
- Make proposals for facility repairs.
5.2. RESPONSIBILITY
- Be in charge of facility management of the workshop and labs;
- Be in charge of duty assignment for experiment and practice classes to other staff;
- Apply innovative measures and technical solutions in instructing for experiments and practice.
6. ACADEMIC CONSULTANT
6.1. AUTHORITY
- Participate in the completion of the annual syllabus of all classes of the Faculty;
- Consider, make suggestions, and process for students’ academy-related problems;
- Manage the scores of all subjects that are in charge by the Faculty;
- Improve professional capability.
6.2. RESPONSIBILITY
- Synthesize and check the annual teaching reports of the Faculty;
- Input and manage score-related activities of the Faculty;
- Compare scores and report academic issues to the Academic Affairs Department;
- Support and consult students on regulations and procedures related to training, finance, and policies;
- Prepare essential documents for internships and graduation thesis defenses.
7. SECRETARY
7.1 AUTHORITY
- Manage, store, and classify documents in ISO standard;
- Keep track of the University’s activities and notify related staff.
7.2. RESPONSIBILITY
- Be on duty of the Faculty’s office;
- Process incoming and outgoing documents including submitting for signing, delivering, and receiving;
- Draft, print, and photocopy requested documents of the Faculty;
- In charge of managing the facility in the office of the Faculty;
- Welcome guests, and receive information from other individuals or organizations contacting the Faculty;
- Instruct, receive and return proposals and other documents from students.
