1. DEAN

1.1. AUTHORITY

  1. Manage overall tasks of the Faculty. Be responsible for planning the development strategies of the Faculty;
  2. Be in charge of the political thoughts of the Faculty’s staff;
  3. Be responsible for the Faculty’s teaching and scientific research activities;
  4. Assign tasks rationally based on staff’s capability and practical demands;
  5. Nominate the staff of the Faculty to the Rector for professional training, and abroad business and educational trips;
  6. Nominate the staff and the students of the Faculty for salary increases, rank changes, rewards and castigation;
  7. Nominate the staff of the Faculty to the Rector for a position appointment or dismissal;
  8. Nominate the staff of the Faculty for short training courses in and outside the country;
  9. Put forward proposals for curriculum adjustment, invite lecturers and experts for seminar reports;
  10. Organize political meetings to disseminate lines and policies of the Faculty and the University;
  11. Be in charge of the financial activities and information network of the Faculty;
  12. Be in charge of international cooperation activities;
  13. Organize and direct seminars of the Faculty;
  14. Sign the official documents of the Faculty;
  15. Devolve duties to the Vice Dean;
  16. Have a close connection with other leaders, units, and related corporations.

1.2. RESPONSIBILITY

  1. Be responsible for managing the staff and students of the Faculty;
  2. Schedule the course and organize proposal and thesis defense for post graduation programs;
  3. Organize to compile curriculum and syllabus, improve teaching and learning methods;
  4. Develop a plan and organize the implementation of ethical and political orientation for the staff and the students of the Faculty;
  5. Participate in teaching and researching according to the University’s regulations;
  6. Be responsible for reporting according to the University’s regulations.
  7. Develop and implement the steps according to the education quality assessment procedures;
  8. Coordinate with the University in the fields of international cooperation, scientific research and postgraduate.

2. VICE DEAN (Responsible for: Academic activities and Students’ Affairs)

2.1. AUTHORITY

  1. Support the Dean with the assigned tasks;
  2. Be responsible for teaching, training, and scientific research activities of the Faculty;
  3. Be in charge of students’ and the Youth Union’s activities.

2.2. RESPONSIBILITY

  1. Be responsible for assigned tasks with the Dean;
  2. Manage the homeroom teacher activities, syllabus, and curricula of the subjects;
  3. Manage and contact for graduation internships and other field trips (if any);
  4. Direct the regular activities of homeroom teachers and training evaluation activities;
  5. Direct students’ and the Youth Union’s activities;
  6. Participate in meetings with the University in the assigned fields. 

3. VICE DEAN (Responsible for: Facility)

3.1. AUTHORITY

  1. Support the Dean with the assigned tasks;
  2. Be in charge of facilities and materials for experiments and internships;
  3. Develop projects to improve research capability; purchase tools and equipment; upgrade and repair facilities;
  4. Be in charge of the manufacturing activities, technology transfer, and the avenues from scientific activities;
  5. Manage the workshop and labs of the Faculty;
  6. Manage all of the faculties of the Faculty.

3.2. RESPONSIBILITY

  1. Be responsible for assigned tasks with the Dean;
  2. Make plans for purchasing equipment and tools, make proposals for facility repair;
  3. Manage the revenue – expenditure activities of technology transfer activities;
  4. Manage the facility tracking notebook of the Faculty;
  5. Coordinate with the workshop and labs to develop the plan for internships according to the syllabus of the Faculty;
  6. Manage working time and activities at the workshop and labs of the Faculty;
  7. Participate in meetings with the University in the assigned fields.

4. HEAD OF DIVISION

4.1. AUTHORITY

  1. Manage the teaching and research quality of the Division;
  2. Manage the curricula, syllabus, and tests of the assigned subjects of the Division;
  3. Assign subjects of the Division to lecturers;
  4. Manage human resources, make plans on professional training for the members of the Division;
  5. Develop, compile, select, and approve curricula that are used in teaching;
  6. Organize periodic seminars and participate in class observations;
  7. Put forward proposals for the member recruitment Division to the Dean and invite visiting lecturers for the Division;
  8. Put forward proposals in rewards and castigation, and position nomination and dismissal nomination;
  9. Improve professional competence.

4.2. RESPONSIBILITY

  1. Be responsible for academy-related activities in training and research of the Division;
  2. Be responsible for the contents, quality and progress of the subjects in charge of the Division;
  3. Improve teaching methods, and organize academic activities to enhance the quality;
  4. Complete the curricula and syllabus related to subjects in charge of the Division;
  5. Make plans on professional training for members of the Division;
  6. Coordinate with other organizations in the aspects of training, manufaction, and service in order to connect between scientific research and practical demands. 

5. HEAD OF WORKSHOP AND LABORATORIES

5.1. AUTHORITY

  1. Manage the facilities of the in-charge workshop and labs;
  2. Manage the contents of the experiments and practice classes at the workshop and labs;
  3. Assign instructors for experiment and practice classes in the syllabus of the Faculty (coordinate with Head of the Division);
  4. Make plans for professional training for other instructors of the workshop and labs;
  5. Plan on facility purchases for experiments and practice;
  6. Make proposals for facility repairs.

5.2. RESPONSIBILITY

  1. Be in charge of facility management of the workshop and labs;
  2. Be in charge of duty assignment for experiment and practice classes to other staff;
  3. Apply innovative measures and technical solutions in instructing for experiments and practice. 

6. ACADEMIC CONSULTANT

6.1. AUTHORITY

  1. Participate in the completion of the annual syllabus of all classes of the Faculty;
  2. Consider, make suggestions, and process for students’ academy-related problems;
  3. Manage the scores of all subjects that are in charge by the Faculty;
  4. Improve professional capability.

 6.2. RESPONSIBILITY

  1. Synthesize and check the annual teaching reports of the Faculty;
  2. Input and manage score-related activities of the Faculty;
  3. Compare scores and report academic issues to the Academic Affairs Department;
  4. Support and consult students on regulations and procedures related to training, finance, and policies;
  5. Prepare essential documents for internships and graduation thesis defenses. 

7. SECRETARY

7.1 AUTHORITY

  1. Manage, store, and classify documents in ISO standard;
  2. Keep track of the University’s activities and notify related staff.

 7.2. RESPONSIBILITY

  1. Be on duty of the Faculty’s office;
  2. Process incoming and outgoing documents including submitting for signing, delivering, and receiving;
  3. Draft, print, and photocopy requested documents of the Faculty;
  4. In charge of managing the facility in the office of the Faculty;
  5. Welcome guests, and receive information from other individuals or organizations contacting the Faculty;
  6. Instruct, receive and return proposals and other documents from students.
