FME’s Student Scientific Research Conference and Technology Exhibition 2019-2020

On the morning of December 5, 2019, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (FME) held a Conference of Student Scientific Research and a technology exhibition. This year’s conference attracted more than 50 students to participate with 24 topics.

Three groups of students were awarded for the following topics: 

• First prize: “Conveyor to arrange products evenly” – Student group: Nguyen Van Tuan, Ngo Van Tien (15CDT2); Instructor: Dr. Vo Nhu Thanh; 
• Second Prize: “Robot with six degrees of freedom” – Student group: Tran Van Do, Nguyen Dinh Danh (15CDT1); Instructor: Dr. Le Hoai Nam; 
• Third prize: “Smart robot arm to pick up food” – Student group: Bui Trung Huy, Cao Anh Tuan (15CDT1); Instructor: Dr. Dang Phuoc Vinh 

The quantity and quality of projects in 2020 increases significantly, especially, contains great science and applicability. Some of the projects have been sponsored by enterprises. 

The first, second, and third prize will be awarded in the Conference of Student Scientific Research of the University of Science and Technology – UD, held on January 5, 2020. In addition, FME will select the best topics to participate in the Science and Technology Exhibition “BKDN TECHSHOW 2020” held in 2 days January 4 and 5, 2020, at Phan Chau Trinh high school.
